
JES Updates Monday and Tuesday Pee Wee games are canceled. 


This week ATLAS the new State Assessment begins. Please note the dates for your students buildings. Students in grades 3- 10 will take the summative ATLAS assessments this year.  If a all possible please do not schedule appointments for your student on testing dates. The Writing assessment begins this week.

Author Trey Reely visited 4th-6th grade students at JES today. He shared about his books, spoke to students about the importance of reading and writing, and even shared some of his funny jokes! Thank you Mr. Reely!




Ms. Conway's leaders of the week are Silas Wooten and Gabriel Frisch! Silas  helped a friend in class and Gabriel works so hard everyday! 


Boys fall 64-58 this afternoon in the 3A State Basketball Tournament to the home team Elkins. What a great year as we finished the season at 25-3. Tough day today but this group will always be remembered as one of the very best teams in Riverview history. We are proud of all our boys!








6th grade JES is better together!

JES is celebrating Read Across America Week March 4-8


Fourth grade spent some time learning about the moon with Mrs. Ansley this week to get ready for the planetarium visit today! They have shown several habits throughout the week including habit 6 synergize! Working together to answer questions and fully experience the sky dome!

Fourth grader Hunter Brewer exhibited habit 3 put first things first and completed all of his division fact fluency! Way to go Hunter!! 


We had two separate assemblies yesterday with Jeremy and Caleb Freeman. Working hard and always having hope can be a powerful thing as they were great inspiration to our students. I encourage everyone to look up their story online. It was a great day indeed!!!










These three students were showing great leadership skills last week in Mrs.Lyons' class. Leader in Me skills are a great way to earn gold coins! Keep up the great work!
