Day two at STARBASE was awesome!!! JES 5th grade students enjoyed learning about static electricity and more! 







Ms. Wright's class had a surprise guest read a book to celebrate Read Across America Week! 



JES staff Jenny Thompson (Librarian) and Beverly Roland (Teacher) helped kick off Read Across America Week 2024 by observing "Hats off to Reading " Day! 


Linda received a gold coin for being a leader and working hard in the classroom! 



Our 5th grade group had lots of fun learning new things  during their first day at STARBASE! 🤩







JES 6th grader Aaliyah Wilson picked up trash off the playground during her recess! Thank you for helping keep JES beautiful Aaliyah! 


Fourth grader, Kori Glen earned a gold coin for most improved essay. She imbedded all story elements and persevered. Way to go Kori! 💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤

JES Updates Monday and Tuesday Pee Wee games are canceled. 


This week ATLAS the new State Assessment begins. Please note the dates for your students buildings. Students in grades 3- 10 will take the summative ATLAS assessments this year.  If a all possible please do not schedule appointments for your student on testing dates. The Writing assessment begins this week.  



Synergize: We are better together! Cheering on our Raiders as they played against Elkins in the 1st round of state yesterday, Go Raiders!! 


Ms. Conway's class had a pizza party to celebrate hitting their WIG goals! Whoo-hoo! 👏


Landry Duran, fourth grader at Judsonia Elementary shared how she'd spend her extra 24 hours for Leap Day. Relaxing and enjoying quiet time! 


Ms. Conway's leaders of the week are Silas Wooten and Gabriel Frisch! Silas  helped a friend in class and Gabriel works so hard everyday!
