JES 5th Grade Spelling Bee, 1st-Allison Johnson, 2nd-Slade Story, 3rd (Alternate) Gracie Musgrove. The top two spellers will compete in January 2023 at the White County Spelling Bee.

Fantastic winter band concert tonight in our Fine Arts Auditorium. Great job by our Beginning Band, Jazz 2, and Jr High bands. Many pieces being played to get you in the Christmas spirit!

Reminder: Grades 7-10 will have their NWEA assessments Thursday and Friday mornings of this week. It is important that students get to school before the bell rings at 7:50 and they do not check out early. We will begin testing both days promptly after the bell rings. There will be incentives for growth in testing data but to even be considered for these students must be on time, not leave early, and must not have any discipline issues during testing. Juniors and seniors know where to report and will have required assessments as well.

The December 15 School Board meeting time and location has been changed. The meeting will be at 5:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm due to the Winter Concert that night also. The meeting will be held in the administration building.
