To clarify the events of the day, there was a shooting in the Kensett community. It did not involve the school in any way. We will dismiss at our normal time.
After we received information from our resource officer this morning about an incident that happened in Kensett. It was determined our students and staff were not in danger, so we did not lockdown any of our schools. We have been told the suspects are no longer in our area.
