Riverview Parents and Patrons,
This is just a reminder regarding school operations and student AMI work:
Currently, all Riverview School District campuses are closed and utilizing Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI days) through April 17, 2020.
Riverview students were given 10 days of AMI in their packets before spring break. AMI packets for days 11-19 will be available for pick up or online by Friday, April 3, 2020. April 10th is a regularly scheduled holiday and no AMI work will be needed to complete for this date. Pick-up times for AMI packets will be Friday, April 3, 2020 and Monday, April 6, 2020 from 8:00-3:00.
Feeding programs on our elementary campuses have resumed. Please use the back entrances to the cafeteria for pick-up. Breakfast will be served form 8:00-8:30. Lunch will be served from 11:30-12:30. Any students under the age of 18 will be able to participate in this free feeding program again beginning Monday, March 30, 2020 and continuing throughout the closure.
As a reminder, all AAA and school-related activities are canceled until classes are resumed.

Riverview Parents and Patrons,
Due to the possibility of severe weather moving through our state tonight, we will be following normal procedures for our tornado shelters on each campus.
Just a reminder, FEMA does not allow pets inside our shelters.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, FEMA has asked us to notify patrons to remain six feet apart and follow all CDC guidelines.

Riverview Parents and Patrons,
As many of you are aware, Governor Asa Hutchinson has announced the closure of all public schools in the state of Arkansas for an additional three weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
At this time, the first day back to school for our students will now be Monday, April 20, 2020. All Riverview School District campuses will be closed and utilizing Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI days) beginning Monday, March 30, 2020 through April 17, 2020.
Riverview students were given 10 days of AMI in their packets this week. AMI days 6-10 included in your packets will now be used to cover Monday, March 30, 2020-Friday, April 3, 2020. Please stay tuned for more information on additional AMI packets for April 6, 2020 through April 17, 2020.
Feeding programs on our elementary campuses will not be available during our regularly scheduled spring break (March 23-March 27). Breakfast and lunch will be made available for students again beginning Monday, March 30, 2020 and continuing throughout the closure.
As a reminder, all AAA and school-related activities are canceled until classes are resumed on Monday, April 20, 2020.
District staff is currently developing plans to continue educational services for our students. We will communicate via our website and social media as plans develop.

In an effort to serve our students and community, the Riverview School District will be offering Grab-N-Go breakfast and lunch at no cost to our students throughout this week of school closure. Meals will be available on the Judsonia Elementary and Kensett Elementary campuses. Please use the back entrances to the cafeteria for pick-up. Breakfast will be served form 8:00-8:30. Lunch will be served from 11:30-12:30. Any students under the age of 18 will be able to participate in this free feeding program.

Dear Parents and Patrons of the Riverview School District:
Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) packets will be available at the following times and locations:
Monday (3/16):
Judsonia and Kensett campuses will have AMI packets available from 1:30-5:00 in the cafeteria. Please use the back entrances.
JrHS/RHS students may pick up computers/packets as needed through the front offices. All JrHS/RHS AMI packets will made available via Google Classroom no later than 1:30 on Monday (3/16).
Tuesday (3/17): 8:00-3:30
All packets will be available for pick up via your campus's front office.
Students are responsible for completing Days 1-5 of their AMI packets at this time.
Should you have any questions regarding this information, please contact your campus principal during regular office hours beginning tomorrow (3/16).

RJHS Student Council surprised staff with positive artwork on their doors and placed affirmation cards in all student computer cases this week. Special thanks to some of the leaders in our school!
