Anatomy students had a visitor from 2019 RHS graduate Kami Foshee. Kami is an EMT in the National Guard. She taught the students how to apply a tourniquet and how to stop the bleeding with junctional wraps.
Jr Boys win today vs Bald Knob in the first round of the 2-3A District Tournament 46-35. Both the girls and the boys play tomorrow afternoon at Cave City in the semi-finals. Go Raiders!!!
Today's focus for National School Counselor Week is on school counselors and community outreach.
The Riverview School District will return to regular bus routes this afternoon. Thank you for your cooperation as the district had to make changes to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Again, we will be running regular routes starting Wednesday afternoon.
Biology students have been learning about cell division and what happens when cells grow out of control causing cancer. They had a special guest speaker, Phyllis Steward, three time cancer survivor come and share her experience of kidney, uterine, and breast cancer.
Ms Morris’ 8th grade Careers classes are currently working on a service project where they are making valentines for a local nursing home. Making a difference at RJHS!
Students in grades 7-10 are receiving the first round of their rewards today if they met projected growth on one of their core NWEA assessments. Over 200 students earned a free chicken sandwich. We want to think Nova Joe’s for their willingness to support our school.
The Riverview School District will be running snow routes again Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. We apologize for this inconvenience but we still many roads that are shady and the ice has not melted enough for school bus to run on them. Thank you.

Jr Girls basketball wins over Mountain View this afternoon 38-24 in the first round of the 2-3A District Tournament. Our girls will play Thursday at 4:00 in the semi-finals. Great job Lady Raiders!
