Kids who are not reading proficiently by 3rd grade are much more likely to struggle later—higher chance of dropping out of high school, facing limited academic options according to ferst readers.

Celebrate small steps—new words, recognizing letters, telling you what they see.
This week: choose a new book, read with your child, and talk about the parts they liked or didn’t like. Let’s encourage curiosity & confidence in reading.

Some of our Jr High students that have been receiving gift cards of their choice from area businesses this week. This was because they reached Mastery in all 3 subject level areas on the 2025 ATLAS state assessment. Way to go!!!
