They received superior ratings (1’s) for their stage performance. Fraternitas (Sr. High Tenor-Bass) were named Best in Class Tenor-Bass Medium Chorus-State Champions! Chamber Singers were named Best in Class Mixed Large Ensemble and Best in Class Large Ensemble Overall- State Champions!
We are incredibly proud of the hard work and determination the students have displayed. These students are becoming great people who are learning what it means to “strive for excellence in all that they do.”

Congratulations to Ryan Reely for winning the PTO KES March Madness bracket!

Big congratulations to these two Riverview students. Ms. Julianne Ramsey was recently selected to attend Arkansas Governor’s School this summer at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville to study visual arts. Mr. Johnathan Peek was selected as alternate for mathematics and science. Arkansas Governor’s school serves as a summer educational program that selects the top 300 juniors across the state. Requirements for the program include a number of criteria including exemplary academics, exceptional test scores, and teacher recommendations. Selection for the summer camp is highly competitive and affords students to learn a number of academic skills while gaining the preliminary experience of post secondary instruction and dorm life to prepare for higher education. Congratulations Julianne and Johnathan.

Congratulations to the high school band who earned the highest possible ratings for their stage performance and sight reading at concert assessment last night! This achievement, along with their superior ratings at marching assessment in October, earn them the distinction of “Sweepstakes Band” for the 24-25 school year. They will perform in the state concert contest next Wednesday, April 16 in hopes of earning a state sweepstakes award.
