National Bus Safety Week:
Riverview School District is piloting this new stop sign arm on one of our buses this fall to determine if it helps reduce the passing of a stopped school bus. Some Riverview School Buses frequently have cars pass them while they are stopped to load or unload students. This is a great safety concern. Our local law enforcement agencies have been working with us to help reduce this occurrence. Please help us keep our students safe and STOP when you see the flashing lights and stop sign on a school bus.
