Riverview Parents and Patrons: Yesterday, Feb. 28th at approximately 2:30pm a reporter from a local news outlet came onto the Riverview Junior High/High School Campus. Upon his arrival, the reporter attempted to gain access into both the high school and junior high. Despite his attempts, the reporter did not gain access to any Riverview facilities without permission. The reporter was only allowed entry into the Riverview Junior High office after presenting his press credentials to the Junior High Principal. After determining the reporter’s intent for being on campus, the Junior High Principal escorted the reporter back out of the building and to the central office where he met briefly with district administration. The reporter was then escorted to his vehicle to leave campus. The Searcy Police Department was contacted and the appropriate actions were taken to ban this reporter from all Riverview Campuses and inform him of the consquences should he choose to violate this ban. It must be stressed that despite other reporting, this reporter did not gain access to any Riverview facility without permission and presenting his media credentials. Our thanks goes to the Riverview Junior High Principal, Mr. Stuart Hill, for ensuring the safety of our students. Thank you for your support in making our campuses safe and trusting us with both the safety and education of your children. Dr. David Rutledge, Superintendent

Students and Patrons: The Daily Citizen reported this morning about our sign project on the rear of the new fine arts building. While we apprecciate them sharing the good news, the description of the sign was not accurate. Here is a rendering of the sign going up on the back of the fine arts center. Go Raiders!
