The Riverview School District will return to regular bus routes this afternoon. Thank you for your cooperation as the district had to make changes to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Again, we will be running regular routes starting Wednesday afternoon.
Biology students have been learning about cell division and what happens when cells grow out of control causing cancer. They had a special guest speaker, Phyllis Steward, three time cancer survivor come and share her experience of kidney, uterine, and breast cancer.
Ms Morris’ 8th grade Careers classes are currently working on a service project where they are making valentines for a local nursing home. Making a difference at RJHS!
Students in grades 7-10 are receiving the first round of their rewards today if they met projected growth on one of their core NWEA assessments. Over 200 students earned a free chicken sandwich. We want to think Nova Joe’s for their willingness to support our school.
The Riverview School District will be running snow routes again Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. We apologize for this inconvenience but we still many roads that are shady and the ice has not melted enough for school bus to run on them. Thank you.
Today for National School Counseling Week we highlight the partnership of school counselors and administrators.
Jr Girls basketball wins over Mountain View this afternoon 38-24 in the first round of the 2-3A District Tournament. Our girls will play Thursday at 4:00 in the semi-finals. Great job Lady Raiders!

The home basketball games for this evening vs Clinton have been postponed.
Yesterday, Governor Hutchinson announced that probable close contacts would no longer have to quarantine. The district will no longer be doing contact tracing.
Students that test positive will still have a 5 day quarantine. We ask your continued cooperation in that if your child is sick they do not come to school.
Riverview High School students visited ASU Beebe to hear author Clifton Taulbert to discuss the cultural, social, and economic journey of African Americans in America and the Black Wall Street story.
Thursday, February 3, 2022 will be an AMI day in the Riverview School District. There will be no on campus classes. Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for the junior high and high school will be moved to Thursday, February 10, 2022. Also, a reminder that Friday, February 4, 2022 is a scheduled professional development day for teachers and there is no school. Have a safe weekend.

Anatomy students have been working on an interactive lesson called Mouse Party. They analyze mice to view the molecular mechanisms by which various drugs disrupt the synapse.
