The White County Bee will be held in January 2021.
Students in Mrs. White's grief group concluded with making keepsakes in memory of their loved ones. The ribbons inside represent memorable qualities about those they have lost such as happy memories and comforting times they shared together.

KES 5th and 6th Graders chose the Home Instead Adopt a Senior Program as their Christmas Service Project. Students donated money to buy Christmas gifts for 2 Senior Citizens. The students also collected money to purchase puzzle books for the residents of Oakdale Nursing Home.
Mrs. Kerry Daughety, GT/Enrichment Teacher, participated in Wilbur D. Mills Educational Coop video contest and won 1st place in the 3rd-6th grade category. Contestants were asked to submit a video about something they have done during the pandemic to enhance teacher or student life. Mrs. Daughety submitted her Distance Resources Google Spreadsheet idea. Included in her prize package is an iPad, an Apple Pencil, and teacher supplies.

Progress reports will be distributed during your student's English class on Thursday, December 3rd.
Any student with failing grades had their reports mailed to the address on file on Monday. These reports should be arriving in your posts today or tomorrow.
Seniors and Virtual students of concern also received a letter requesting a meeting with the school. Please respond to this letter as soon as possible to ensure your child's educational success.
If you do not receive your child's progress report by Thursday, December 3rd, please contact the high school office for a copy or visit your parent HAC account online.
