Friday the 7th and 8th-grade reading students played a connotation and denotation card sort game. The students had to analyze the impact of specific word choices and how language can set a formal or informal tone.

Lady Raider Volleyball sweeps Abundant Life this evening. All four teams, (8th Grade, Jr High, Junior Varsity and Varsity) come away with victories. These girls are working so hard and it’s definitely paying off. We are proud of them!!!




Mrs. Clark’s reading classes worked in pairs to practice and strengthen oral reading fluency. The students then used textual evidence to support and defend their ideas, questions, and claims to the rest of the class. Great work by great students!
