This week is National School Counseling Week. JES wants to recognize Mrs. Mize for being our awesome counselor!!! We love you! 🎉🎊💜

Eli Barnum in Mrs. Roach's 6th grade completed every single lesson for 6th grade on Zearn for math! That is 128 lessons with 2 bonus lessons! No one else has ever completed that many lessons! Congrats Eli! Way to work hard and always do your best!

For Wednesday of National School Counselor Week, Mrs. White was available to provide stickers that reminds students of grounding and breathing strategies to help regulate their nervous systems in times of stress.


A&P class started their cat dissections today in Ms Taylor's biology classes. Students will soon study the muscles of the cat and relate them to the human body. We are proud of these students for stepping out of their comfort zone and giving their best effort. Way to go!!










Riverview School District will be closed for Winter Break Friday Feb 16 - Monday Feb 19. Students will return to classes on Tuesday Feb 20, 2024.

Nurse Amber from the Judsonia campus and Coach Nurse from our RHS campus spoke to classes with Mrs. White and Mrs. Bundy on a wonderful new opportunity available to next year's 11th graders to complete an LPN license while in high school in parternship with ASU Searcy.

Ms.Conway’s class had a afternoon movie and snack to celebrate 12 perfect days of attendance! Way to go!

Mrs. Jacobs’ 3rd grade class met their WIG goals and built their goal snowman! Thank you Brick Oven Pizza for donating for a class pizza party!

JES second graders that reached all three goals on the winter MAP test were celebrated with a principal treat of making sundae's. Congratulations to these second graders!



Yesterday the bowling team competed in the conference bowling tournament in Jonesboro. Makenna Roach and Korban Diong were our girls and boys teams top bowler placing 28 and 47 in their respective divisions for conference. We are proud of all our bowlers!








A group in the Decoration Committee of the 7th grade Leader In Me created an opportunity for our students to take a guess if we will see more Winter or if Spring is on its way. Groundhog Day is tomorrow… what do YOU think? ❄️ or 🌸
